Food poisoning!

Spent the weekend in Närpes with my girls Janina, Daniela &Camilla. Janina is going to Canada as an exchange student and we wanted to spend quality time together. Well long story short we had a great time but the ending could have been better. We did however see a thunder storm, it was the hugest I've ever seen here in Finland. It was the ones I saw when I lived in El Salvador! I woke up from my dream, the roof was shaking and lightning lighted up the room. Daniela had been awake for ten minutes when I woke up, she told me to look out the window. The others woke up as well and we gathered in the kitchen to look on what was happening outside. I wanted to go out and take some pictures but didn't! We discussed how this could be happening, the sun had been shining all day and when we went to bed at 1am there was no warning or any sign of the coming storm. But just as quickly as it had started it had moved on. We went back to sleep and when I woke up I felt sick, I needed to throw up and did multiple times during the day. I was not the only one feeling sick, Daniela was to! After some investigating and discussion we came to the conclusion that it was food poisoning from the meat we had eaten. It was the only thing only I and Daniela had eaten that Janina and Camilla hadn't. So we had to call Janinas and Daniela's mothers so that they would pick us up and drive us home! Now I'm home, I've eaten noodles. I still feel faint and tired. Watching the documentary on the Monster of Florenze. I hope I'll be better tomorrow! <3 AlinaM

Maybe this time?

I already have a Swedish blog and it feels as if I'm not getting the attention I want or need there so it's time to try starting up an English blog in hope that this time.... My Name is Paulina and i live in Finland with my Dog Lex. I often say that my life resembles a soap opera with all the crazy/stupid things I do and all the drama I get caught up in xD For the moment my family (My Father, Mother and little Brother) Live in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I've visited them there once this past year and fell in love with the country <3 When I was younger I lived in San Salvador. I'm a very social being and I love to party with my friends and colleagues. Having fun is a must :D I work with both disabled people and after school activity leader for children, in Finland it's called Eftis. Photography is one of my passions, I work with a Canon Eos 450D that I named Eostre(from the model name, it's Anglo-Saxon and means Goddess of the Dawn).
